Support Our School Clinic.

Current Project

The school clinic in rural Cambodia improves health of  500+ students and the entire local community. We transform it into a small hospital.

WISHLIST
Sponsor an AED

Most rural communities or schools in South East Asia have no access to live saving AEDs.

Re-build a rural school clinic

The school clinic in rural Cambodia needs an urgent update. We want to transform it in a small hospital that serves the school and the local community.

Point-of-care ultrasound

To swiftly rule out severe disorders POCUS has become the standard. This ultrasound can be used with standard mobile phones but saves lives.

ECG monitor / machine

To stabilize critically ill patients awaiting transportation we need monitoring equipement capable of electrocardiogram recordings.

One Health education

We teach children to take care of themselves, each other and the environment. You can donate to improve health with us.

Bicycle project

Most children walk to school, sometimes more than 10km. We try to provide children with adequate bicycles.

PREVIOUS PROJECTS

  • For over 5 years we have supported projects globally. We have focussed on providing healthcare for all, especially in children. We realize a healthy tomorrow starts with healthy children living in a clean environment. Please take some time to see what we have done.

2019 South Africa

In the townships of Cape Town, where HIV and tuberculosis remain significant health concerns, a dedicated program has been established. Through regular screenings, early detection, and child-friendly treatment protocols, our medical team was involved to care for children in these under-resourced communities.

2020 Carribean

During the height of the COVID-19 crisis, a hospital in the Caribbean took urgent steps to manage the growing number of patients. One major initiative involved setting up a specialized ICU tent on-site. Recognizing the need for extra medical expertise, authorities granted an exception to the travel ban for one of our doctors, allowing them to fly directly to St. Maarten.

2021 The Netherlands

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals faced an unprecedented surge in adult patients requiring critical care. To help manage the influx, our pediatricians were reassigned to the COVID wards. They provided essential treatment and support. They adapted their clinical skills to meet the needs of adult patients.

2022 Ukraine

During the conflict in Ukraine, refugees sought safety by fleeing across the borders. To address critical medical needs among them, our doctor was sent to refugee camps situated along the borders. They triage the most urgent cases, and coordinate the safe transfer of those requiring immediate, specialized care in The Netherlands.

2023 Cambodia

Our team of doctors spent six months volunteering in a rural Cambodian village. They promoted the One Health concept and supported a local clinic at a village school. They provided basic medical care, including vision screenings for the schoolchildren, and provide basic medical care for the community. We offered CPR training sessions for staff to equip them with life-saving skills.

2024 Cambodia

The team returned to the clinic in Cambodia for a second year. In partnership with the local NGO and the village school, they also initiated a research project focusing on the One Health concept in relation to children's health. The project aims to improve environmental conditions, provide health and safety education, and reduce the use of antibiotics.
